Dongying Culture & Arts Center Co., Ltd established in November, 2007 was invested by Keda Group and Dongying City Assets Business Co., Ltd, possesses 30 million RMB, ranges from investing, constructing and operating Water City Saussurea Grand Theater, Yellow River Estuary Culture & Arts Center and ancillary project to operate culture, tour, service and related industry.
Yellow River Estuary Culture & Arts Center is located between the east city and the west city in Dongying. It is core project in Yellow River Water City Culture Park (Yellow River International Forum) in Dongying. The project will be constructed and operated according to the principle, “Government Oriented, Enterprise Operated, Matching Construction, Reasonable Bidding, Win-Win, Be a Key Point”. The project is both the important public welfare infrastructure project and the most important point of function, sight and culture in the center city of Dongying. Project Background
China Irrigation Works and China Tourism Association cooperated Shandong Provincial Government and Shandong Dongying Municipal Government to hold a press conference in Beijing People’s Hall on September 15th, 2007. It announced the address of Yellow River International Forum settled in Dongying permanently. The Third Yellow River International Forum was held in Dongying between October 16th and 19th, 2007. In order to hold some large scale activities such as Yellow River International Forum and Yellow River Estuary Tourism Expo, Dongying Municipal Government decide to construct Yellow River International Forum Project including Water City Saussurea Grand Theater, Yellow River Estuary Culture & Arts Center, Yellow River Culture Hotel, high grade business comprehensive area, exhibition center and Yellow River Culture Square.
Yellow River International Forum project considers meeting the needs of tourists’ entertainment, leisure, culture as starting point, and the Water City Saussurea Grand Theater, Yellow River Estuary Culture & Arts Center and related projects construction as carrier to develop tourism matching industry such as tourism holiday, leisure entertainment, culture perform, heal care, business service and so forth. It creates Recreational Business District (RBD) for Dongying, that is “Yellow River Water City” core area, which a new city area integrated with ecology, leisure, tourism, business, habitation and education.
